Terms of Service

Effective October 2, 2026. Hermes Backup is a private utility for its owner's personal use, not a public or commercial service.

The owner is responsible for authorizing access only to their own Google account and data, protecting credentials and the backup decryption key, managing storage limits and testing restoration. No subscription, payment or public account registration is offered.

Backups are provided without an availability or recovery guarantee. A lost decryption key can make encrypted backups unrecoverable. The owner may discontinue the utility, revoke Google access or remove stored backups at any time.

Use of Google Drive remains subject to Google's applicable terms. These terms do not replace Google's terms or policies.
